The international Open Acces Week takes place on 21.-25. October 2024. Lib4RI will be present at all four research institutes - meet us for a chat to answer all your questions! 

Panel discussion on Diamond Open Access publishing 

A panel consisting of one member from each of the 4RI`s and an external guest speaker will be answering open questions on topics relating to Diamond OA publishing, including what we as institutes can and should be doing regarding Diamond OA initiatives.

Autumn training series "Searching & Managing Scientific Information" 

Registration for our bi-annual training series is now open! From September to December, we offer nine individually bookable modules (approx. 3-6h each) at the three library locations (Dübendorf, Birmensdorf, Villigen). Save your spot now!

New module: «AI Made Easy: A Beginner‘s Toolkit for Streamlining Your Projects» 


Due to popular demand, a module on AI tools was added to the programme. In this module, you get an understanding of AI, how AI models work and what the most important AI tools are. The lecture is designed for beginners and comprises: 

  • Introduction to AI 
  • Generative AI models 
  • Applications with (mainly) publicly available AI tools

More information & registration

  • All sessions are open to members of the 4RI 
  • Modules are offered in person at Eawag-Empa, PSI and WSL 
  • A recommendation for 1 ECTS credit point can be received by attending four or more modules
