Continuation of negotiations with Oxford University Press (OUP) in 2022

In 2021, the negotiations between Oxford University Press (OUP) and the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries concluded without any agreement. The talks will continue in 2022.

OUP has agreed to a «grace period», meaning that researchers in Switzerland will continue to have access to OUP journals as long as the negotiations continue. Should the negotiations fail, it is possible that direct access to OUP articles published from 2021 onwards will be lost; however, post-cancellation access to all licensed OUP articles published before 2021 is ensured.
