Hiring Project Manager (80%) for Lib4RI

For the further development of our services Lib4RI is looking for a Project Manager (80%, m/f/d) in the team Management, Administration & Projects. In this permanent position you can shape the profile of the library and actively contribute to its strategic development. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Conception and implementation of internal and cooperative projects to expand the library’s services with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Communication Lead for all the library's communication channels (website, newsletter, information materials, social media)
  • Participation in the regular tasks of library management such as monitoring, reporting, project organization and coordination
  • Active participation in the strategic and operational development of the library in a dynamic environment that is increasingly driven by IT and AI

Qualifications: 

  • University degree in natural sciences or engineering, in-depth knowledge of scientific research and preferably experience in scientific information management
  • Experience with AI tools, interest in current developments in librarianship, open access and open science; commitment to customer-oriented improvement of library services
  • Very good conceptual and organizational skills as well as experience in project management
  • Excellent Office skills, good knowledge of web technologies, strong communication skills in German and English
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, a high degree of service orientation, initiative and willingness to take responsibility
