The first sessions of our introductory course «Searching & Managing Scientific Information» are well on their way.
We are pleased about the lively interest in our spring training series, with more than 100 registrations so far, and take this opportunity to say thank you.
At the same time, we would also like to announce that due to the high demand in our Endnote courses, we are offering additional sessions for modules 3 & 4 on Thu, 28 Apr 2016.
So, if you haven’t already done it, take your chance and register for module 3 (Literature Management with Endnote) and perhaps also for module 4 (Complementary Exercises). Please note that for module 4 prior attendance of modules 1, 2 & 3 are mandatory.
The whole course is split into four individually bookable modules.
In module 1, «Searching Scientific Information», you become skilled in finding relevant scientific information using suitable tools offered by Lib4RI.
In module 2, «The Publication Process», you get to know the principles of the publication process incl. Open Access, learn how to deal with copyright questions and become acquainted with typical measures for scientific research evaluation.
In module 3, «Literature Management with Endnote», you get introduced to scientific literature management with Endnote.
In the new module 4, «Complementary Exercises», you have the opportunity to consolidate your knowledge acquired in modules 1, 2 & 3 by hands-on exercises.
Sessions are open to all members of the 4 research institutes, PhD students and other new researchers are particularly invited. On request, students attending all four modules will receive a recommendation for 1 ECTS credit point. More details incl. dates, venues and online registration can be found here.
