Since 15th of July, upon arrival of its latest members, Niels Kistler and Daniel Perez, the newly founded team «Publication Services» is finally complete. Its members, Claudia Berger, Jochen Bihn, Silvia Jost, Niels Kistler, Laura Konstantaki, Veronika Müller-Vargas and Daniel Perez (group leader) will provide services around the publishing process for scientists of the four research institutes, Eawag, Empa, PSI and WSL.
Its immediate focus lies on finalising the development of the new institutional repository DORA which is based on Islandora/Fedora. Once it will be up and running – watch our news page for updates on this matter – the latter will be continuously improved and extended to meet modern-day requirements for self-archiving of manuscripts. Additionally, the team puts special emphasis on promoting Open Access, curating the information available on our web-pages, informing about recent developments and trends, and organising seminars on matters related to Open Access, as well as to author rights in general.
