    After major renovations, Lib4RI WSL Birmensdorf was reopened yesterday. Among other things, the new space offers attractive working spaces, booths for calls, a coffee machine and lockers. Come by and see for yourself!

    New Read & Publish agreement with the American Physical Society

    Lib4RI has expanded its Open Access publishing portfolio by entering into a new transformative Read and Publish agreement with the American Physical Society (APS). Starting in April, corresponding authors affiliated with the 4RIs no longer have to pay a fee for publishing Open Access in the APS hybrid journals.

    As a service to our researchers, we reviewed publications in the institutional repository DORA which are published in journals that have an impact factor, but are not indexed in Web of Science. A total of 166 published articles were missing and are now reported for addition in Web of Science.

As in previous years, our decision-making process was guided by an extensive data analysis to ensure we provide access to the most essential resources. However, due to budget constraints impacting the four research institutes, we had to raise the bar higher than before, resulting in more cancellations than usual.
